Rebecca Choquette
Veterinary Technician
Staff Member since 2008
Rebecca graduated from Clark University with a BA
in Psychology and a minor in Biology, as part of a pre-veterinary
program. Prior to joining the staff of Sterling Veterinary Clinic she
has worked in the veterinary medical field since 2002. Her interest in
animals started far earlier, however! At the young age of 3, Rebecca
remembers taking care of woodland creatures in her back yard.
At 12 years old, she had the opportunity to attend
the Adventures in Veterinary Medicine program at Tufts University
Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine and has been working toward her
goal of becoming a Veterinarian ever since.
Her responsibilities include patient care and
client communications at the clinic. She routinely assists the doctors
with patient treatments and appointments.
When away from the clinic, Rebecca enjoys playing
with her daughter and her dog, reading, and walking outdoors. | |

Laurice Clemente, C.V.T.
Certified Veterinary Technician
Technical Supervisor
Staff Member since 1995
Laurice graduated from Becker College in 1985 and again in 1995, with Associate degrees in Business and Science respectively. She went on to earn her credentials as a certified veterinary technician and is a member of both the Massachusetts Veterinary Technician Association and the North American Veterinary Technician Association (NAVTA).
Laurice enjoys reading and gardening, but most of all, spending time with her family.

Jennifer Harackiewicz, C.V.T.
Certified Veterinary Technician
Staff Member since 2005
Jennifer earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology
and Natural Science from Worcester State College in 2008. She also
holds Minors in Chemistry, Communications and Psychology and completed a
Concentration in Women's Studies.
Jennifer is a member of the Massachusetts
Veterinary Technician Association and college honor societies:
Tri Beta, Phi Eta Sigma and Omicron Delta Kappa.
After completing her studies, she earned her C.V.T.
credential. Her responsibilities at the clinic
include, client communications, patient care, surgical monitoring and
radiology.
Jennifer enjoys kayaking, hiking and participating
in triathalons. When relaxing, she reads, pursues photography and
visits Cape Cod.
As a child, Jennifer took care to make sure her stuffed animals were well cared for and happy. She continues that
tradition today by caring for patients who can't speak for themselves
and educating their owners.

Kristi M., C.V.T., VTS (ECC)
Certified Veterinary Technician
Specialty: Emergency Critical Care
Staff Member since 2009
In 1993, Kristi obtained her AS in Animal Health
Technology from Mt. San Antonio College in California. After completing
her schooling, she went on to pursue a veterinary technician internship
at the Animal Medical Center in New York City. Kristi became a
licensed R.V.T. in California in 1995 and a specialist in emergency/critical care in 1999.
After moving to Massachusetts, she became licensed
as a C.V.T. in 2008. Kristi is a member of the Academy of Veterinary
Emergency and Critical Care Technicians (AVECCT), the North American
Veterinary Technician Association (NAVTA) and the Massachusetts
Veterinary Technician Association.
As a child, Kristi always wanted to be a
Zookeeper. In pursuit of a Zoo career, she started working as a kennel
attendant at a veterinary clinic in 1989. Kristi enjoyed the veterinary clinic setting so much that
she became a veterinary technician and made it her career.
Her responsibilities include patient care, surgical monitoring, inventory management, and client communication.
Since she and her husband recently moved to this
area, they
enjoy the quiet beauty that New England has to offer, with their dog and cat.

Chris Powers, C.V.T.
Certified Veterinary Technician
Staff Member since 2003
Chris graduated from UMASS Amherst with a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science and Equine Industries. She is a certified veterinary technician and is a member of the Massachusetts Veterinary Technician Association and the United States Equine Foundation.
Chris is responsible for prescription diet and lab supply inventory management. She regularly upgrades our diagnostic equipment and educates owners on prescription diet needs for their pets.
When not at the clinic, Chris enjoys spending time with her dog and three horses.

Erin Zoppo, C.V.T.
Practice Manager
Staff Member since 2000
In 1997, Erin earned her Bachelor of Arts from Gordon College in
Wenham, Massachusetts and in 2011, completed her MBA from Anna Maria College in Paxton. Erin is a member of the Massachusetts
Veterinary Technician Association and is a certified veterinary
technician.
As Practice Manager, she is responsible for the clinic, its staff,
the patients they treat, and to the owners who entrust their pets to the
Sterling Veterinary Clinic.
